EQUINE FACILITATED

HUMAN DEVELOPMENT

& LEARNING

Equine Assisted Therapy / EFHD can bring about significant personal growth and learning experience. By working with the horse and facilitator you can recognise powerful influencing neurological signals of what you are ‘feeling’ which is often very different from what you are ‘thinking’.  This is the root cause of conflict in our lives.  Horses are sensitive and responsive.  They offer non- judgmental, honest feedback in response to our emotions, body language, beliefs and behaviours.  They can reflect what we cannot see ourselves.  Working with the horse provides a safe space for you to explore and practice effective communication skills that will address your life needs whilst negotiating relationships and boundaries. Through a series of specially designed activities, you will deepen your awareness of personal issues, core feelings and areas of bodily tension that inhibit the ability to reach your true potential. This new awareness translates into your personal life offering an opportunity for emotional insight and growth.
