About me

I have always had a love, respect and empathy for animals and nature.  Horses have always been a passion in my life.  Many of the horses that I came across had behavioural problems and I felt I had to help them, so my healing path started there. Animals are naturally intuitive and respond to the varying energies and emotions we project, both positive and negative. I believe it is our responsibility to provide as natural an environment as possible for animals in our care.  They are living in a human world and we expect a lot from them. My working life with horses began as a BHS riding instructor, teaching and training on yards and also working freelance. I then began looking for a more natural way of training and riding.  I spent four months training with Monty Roberts and touring with him in the UK.  I studied various natural horsemanship training methods including Pat Parelli and Bruce Logan.  I studied equine behaviour which was invaluable when training horses, working with behavioural issues such as catching, loading and backing.  I have also worked with horses at the Sussex Horse Rescue Trust.  I am also a volunteer healer at The Harry Edwards Healing Sanctuary in Shere, Surrey which offers healing for animals and humans. I work as a facilitator for equine human development/equine assisted therapy and animal healer, practicing in Sussex and Kent. I am fully insured and have memberships with the following:- Crossfields Institute Level 5 Diploma in Equine Facilitated Human Development (VRQ) certificate (Cert. EFHD). Standards for Assisted & Facilitated Equine Professionals (SAFE Professionals). National Council of Psychotherapists. Full Healer of The Healing Trust (NFSH).
